What People are Saying

Without Carol’s cheerful manner and helpful ways, my father would not be able to stay in his own home so comfortably and safely.

JS, HANOVER

Carol Hudson has been caring for my mother for the past year and is more than I could have ever hoped for – reliable, consistent and able to relate to and communicate with her very well. Carol’s been a great advocate for her when we were not available to express her needs. My mother has done far better than we expected for her age of almost 100. I would highly recommend Carol’s services.

JD, LONDON

Carol regularly and reliably helps my sister to get out of her apartment. My sister is on a walker but due to Carol's years of experience I have no concern that she might fall or not be well-supervised. Carol is patient and organized. I appreciate the friendly manner in which she interacts with my sister. Hiring Carol to help our family has significantly reduced my stress levels.

BM, HANOVER

Carol always goes above and beyond to help us and we would be lost without her. She is a real treasure.

Helping seniors to live as independently as possible is my goal.

It is achievable and with a little helping hand the activities of daily living become so much easier. I am able to provide a wide range of non medical, personalized services that are genuinely caring, compassionate and respectful. I serve the Durham, Hanover, Walkerton and surrounding areas.

About Carol

I feel that there is a need in this area for additional services that would provide seniors in their own home or residential centre with a feeling of independence and encourage them to still be part of the community.

I was born and raised in the Hanover area and during my years of different career choices and community participation I have interacted with a lot of great people. All paths have led to the conception of my business.

With the acceptance of busy lives and families that do not live close the isolation in the lives of seniors increase. Their need for social contact is important and with attention to detail and friendly companionship they can still feel like part of the community.

Connected care is peace of mind that I am able to offer to families. Keeping families that do not live close involved in the care of their loved ones is very rewarding.

I love my job and every day is different. I am learning so many things, hearing great stories and meeting wonderful people. Enriching the lives of others is a very gratifying experience.
